Marie Callaghan

Marie joined the company in February 2022. She works in the accounts department with Lisa, Dainee & Annie.

Marie’s roles & responsibilities include sales/ purchase ledger, account reconciliations & dealing with customer enquiries.

When Marie isn’t working she enjoys going to the gym, walks around the Lakes & Yorkshire. She also enjoys socialising with friends & going out for food and drinks.

Nicola Thomas

Nicola is the newest member of the Ascendant team, she works closely with Kate in the service department.

Nicola has previously worked as a service co-ordinator for a local, well established fire alarm company so brings with her a wealth of experience.

When Nicola isn’t at work she enjoys spending time her family, socialising and going out for meals.

 

Ruth Sutton

Ruth’s responsibilities include scheduling repairs, ordering necessary parts, looking after customers and invoicing our customers for any repairs.

Ruth previous experience derives from various finance roles and she has previously worked as a project co-ordinator for a maintenance and refurbishment company.

When Ruth isn’t working she enjoys socialising with friends, live music and listening to true crime podcasts.

Kate Paton

Working as part of our service team, Kate is responsible for planning services, assisting with call outs, looking after our clients and organising the engineer’s schedules.

Kate has worked in the lift industry for a number of years, prior to this working in IT and various customer service roles.

When Kate isn’t working she enjoys getting outside and exploring the North-East (as she’s originally from London!) She also enjoys trying new restaurants and spending any spare time she has with her partner and little girl.

Neil Neeson

Neil is one of the longest serving members of the Ascendant lift team, having been with the company since it opened! It is Neil’s responsibility to provide our customers with quotes for their repairs and ensure the smooth running of the repairs department, working closely with Ruth.

Neil has years of experience in customer service as well as a proven sales tracker in a variety of different industries.

When Neil isn’t working he is an avid Sunderland fan, travelling to his beloved Stadium of Light on a weekly basis and much further afield when he is able to!

Annie Wright

Annie works in the accounts department alongside Lisa, Dainee & Marie.

Annie responsibilities include credit control and is solely responsible for running the accounts for the North East.

When Annie isn’t at work she enjoys spending time with family, taking on challenges (including the GNR & Blaydon Races!) to raise money for various charities. She also enjoys going on holiday and breaks away.

Justine Bland

Justine is responsible for the selling service and maintaence contracts, whilst delivering an exceptional level of customer service. She has over 10 years experience in the FM industry, 7 of which in sales roles.

When Justine isn’t at work, she enjoys travelling, festivals and enjoying meals in restaurants.

Tonys main roles and responsibilities include the modernisations and new lifts. He has over 20 years experience in the lift industry.

When he isn’t working, Tony enjoys music (both playing and listening!) including brass and drums and watching the football.

Luke Tindill

Luke is responsible for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies. His duties may include recruitment; training/coaching/mentoring new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; authoring and discussing with employee’s performance appraisal’s; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards. Arranging any materials or equipment that engineers may require to complete task in hand and giving advice to engineers regarding completing work and parts that maybe required

Yvonne Brown

Yvonne’s role is to head and to lead the Northwest team. She manages the overall operation and I am responsible for the effective and successful management of staff, productivity, quality control, regulatory issues and any safety measures as established throughout the business.

Yvonne enhances the operational procedures, systems, and principles in information flow and management, business processes, management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand systems.

She is also responsible for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies. My duties may include recruitment; training/coaching/mentoring new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; authoring and discussing with employee’s performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards. I also play a key part in organising the budget of the company in collaboration with the director.
