Ascendant have completed a modernisation in Manchester for a valued client in the care sector.
The lift had issues since it was over 25 years old, 10 years over the recommended age for modernisation. When lifts are over 15 years old, they can become less reliable and they often break down more often. For this reason we advise getting your lift modernised if it is old and reliable.
The lift had other issues too, the control processor for the lift had failed and was obsolete. We had a chat with the client and we all agreed lift modernisation was the way to go.
Throughout a short timespan, we carried out a full modernisation, utilising a hydraulic and controller package from Hydroware. We used other suppliers for our parts too, the new door operator was from Shorts via Langer and Laumann. We got further ancillary equipment from Elevator Equipment.
The client was over the moon with our service throughout the modernisation in Manchester. They have shown interest in using us again for future lift projects.
