We got a great new addition to our team. Ian recently joined Ascendant Lifts as the Operations Manager in our head office. He hasn’t been part of the team long however he is already showing us that he is a valuable asset to our ever-growing team.
Ian has vast experience in the lift industry, with over 30 years experience. When he first started his career in lifts, he was a stairlift installation engineer. Eventually, Ian progressed into management roles, bringing excellent work ethic and a good can-do attitude to every business he has done work for.
Originally, Ian was from Sheffield, where he spent a good chunk of his life. In 2008 he moved to the northeast but he still supports his beloved Sheffield United Football Club and enjoys watching them play.
Ian is a hard worker with extensive experience in the world of lifts, which is one of the many reasons why we are glad to have him as the Operations Manager for our head office. We hope he continues to bring good opportunities to our company.
Ian is in a happy marriage with his wife Alison, they love walking their dog Paddy and going out for meals together. When Ian is not hard at work, he enjoys a round of golf now and again, he also has a passion for fishing.
