Meet Bobbie, our Managing Director Suzanne Lisle‘s new grandson! 👶🏻

Bobbie was a festive baby, born 27th December 2022 weighing 7lb 9oz. We’re sure as soon as hes old enough, Suzanne will be showing him the ropes (literally) in the lift industry! 🛠

Forget about times tables, its all about knowing your hydraulics from your traction lift, and your dumbwaiters from your platforms! He’ll be swatting up in no time📝

This week we are delighted to announce some exciting news about the future of Ascendant Lifts & Escalators Ltd, we are REALLY starting 2023 as we mean to go on…

We recently completed the acquisition of assets of East Lifts Ltd. (ELL). East Lifts is an Independent lift company situated in the East of England who specialize in all lift access solutions. The company is a well established and has been trading for a number of years, with an ample set of new clients for us to welcome on board.

We’ve had a longstanding working relationship with ELL, and it came to light that the founder, Paul Spoor was looking to begin his well earned retirement. So, in pursuit of our ambition to continue to expand and grow, our CEO Kenneth Chappell took this as a fantastic opportunity to acquire the company and merge it to become part of Ascendant Lifts & Escalators ltd.

Following an initial discussion it was evident that there was a mutual benefit between both parties for us to acquire the complete portfolio of lifts and also the ELL engineers.

ELL is mainly based in Lincolnshire and surrounding areas which gives a greater geographical coverage for our new and existing clients.

This is just the beginning of our expansion plans for 2023 here at Ascendant – we look forward to working with all of our new clients and we cant wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the year, bring it on!
